The Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago (ECA) and the Northeastern Illinois Chapter of NECA co-sponsored a seminar called, "Mental Health / Suicide Prevention."  The session was held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the NECA-IBEW Technical Institute (INTECH) in Alsip, IL.  Matt Blair, CEO & Co-Founder of The Well Resource Center, NFP was the presenter.  Over 25 attendees were present for this program.

Seminar Description:

The Well began as a Non-for profit in 2016. Matt Blair, CEO’s personal connection to this community is his brother Scott, who is a Chicago police officer. The Well’s vision is to build a trusted safe space for First Responders and their families and to provide appreciation, respect and support for first responders and for the work they do to keep our city safe. Their programs are designed to create trusted and engaging environments that improve mental, physical, relational and spiritual health for the entire first responder family unit.

We thank all that were able to participate with the program.  We thank Matt for his expertise and candor with the session.
