The program was held at the IBEW-NECA Technical Institute (INTECH) in Alsip, IL.

May 17, 2025

The Apprentice Graduation Ceremony was held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the IBEW-NECA Technical Institute (INTECH) in Alsip, IL with over 200 graduates of the “A” Program and nearly 20 graduates for the “C” Program. The event featured a number of industry speakers and special recognitions.

The evening program began with an Invocation by Deacon John Donahue, J.D., Ed.D. 

Guest Speakers were Don Finn, Chair, Local #134, IBEW Business Manager / Financial Secretary via video and Bob Fimbianti, ECA President, Linear Electric, Inc. Each commended the efforts of not only the journeylevel graduates, but of the families, the instructors, ECA membership, Local 134, and the EJATT Trustees and Associate Trustees. Each spoke of the importance of continuing education in the industry.  Each congratulated the new journeylevel electricians!

After the diplomas were distributed, Gene Kent, INTECH Director made the special presentations, as follows: “A” Program Apprentice of the Year – Justin A. Regnier; “C” Program Apprentice of the Year – Herbert O. Obah, Jr.; “Andrea Hall Apprentice Excellence Award” – Elizabeth J. Kukulka; and the “Terry Allen Brotherhood Award” – Kyle T. Westfall.

Again, congratulations to all the graduates!
